Collegiate Men’s Volleyball Opportunities

If you played volleyball in high school, you know that it’s a one-of-a-kind experience.

It probably helped you learn commitment, focus, teamwork, and gain lasting friendships.

All that does not have to end now that you are moving on to the next level of life, College.  Below are some options and tools to help you find the right fit.

Men’s Club Volleyball

Many schools may not have a Men’s Varsity Volleyball team, but instead have a Men’s Club Volleyball Team.  Club volleyball is an intercollegiate athletic team funded (often founded) by the student. Unlike varsity sports, which the NCAA oversees, many club sports are governed by the National Intramural Recreational Sports Association (NIRSA), a nonprofit organization that promotes intramural and club athletics.

Some of the Club Volleyball teams are just as competitive and skilled as a varsity team.  They also compete against other Club Volleyball teams as well as play in a National Tournament.
